This weekend I have looked at several articles about why we should reduce our troop involvement Afghanistan, and others wondering what “winning” would entail, and others asked what it would be like when we left. I am one of those who believes the commanders on the ground. If McChrystal thinks we more troops, let him have ‘em; if Petraeus needs more money let him have it. At this point it’s not about winning or losing, it’s about recognizing those who put their lives on the line and giving them what they need to get the job done. It’s about giving them the honor they deserve when they get home.
