The Constitution does not change over time and it shouldn't. Those who want to change it are really wanting to change our country itself. For some reason, the progressives want our country to be more like the rest of the world, but I contend that is not even close to a good thing. Our country was founded to be different and it has been thus for over 200 years. Because of it's "difference", it has been able to withstand a lot of storms and has helped the rest of the world weather them as well.
